Security policy

Toolbench is aware of the concerns that you may have when using the Internet.

All credit/debit card details are processed using secure 128 bit encryption over SSL connection via RBS WorldPay. The encryption process converts the characters you have entered into bits of code which are then securely transmitted over the internet.


Credit/debit card details are not stored once your order has been processed. You will need to enter your details each time you order.


Every transaction we process is also checked for fraudulent activity, validation and authenticity of payment, address and post code details.


You can check that you are shopping in a secure area by looking for a padlock or a key at the bottom of your browser. A second check can be made by looking at the address bar, it should display an ‘s’ after the http. (

Privacy Policy

Toolbench is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).


We collect information about you for 2 reasons:

  1. to process your order
  2. to provide you with the best possible service


We will not email you in the future unless you have given us your consent.

We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us or from another trader in the future.


The type of information we will collect about you includes:

  • your name
  • address
  • phone number
  • email address
  • credit/debit card details


We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.


The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check your details that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.


The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.


If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.


We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site, using "cookies" which would be stored on your computer. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. We never store credit card details, these will have to be entered every time you place an order.
